In Indore, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, inaugurated a new 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital. Additionally, he unveiled a newly constructed (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, which cost around Rs 6 crore. The cutting-edge equipment, donated by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, will greatly enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. CM Yadav officially opened the CT scan room by cutting the ribbon and offering prayers, and he received a detailed explanation of the machine and its features. The Chief Minister was briefed that the new building, constructed by the Public Works Department, will address space constraints highlighted by the Dental Council of India during inspections. The state government is also installing an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the dental college through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation, benefiting both undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as outpatients. CM Yadav emphasized that these new medical facilities demonstrate the state's commitment to improving healthcare services. He highlighted that the advanced CT scan machine will aid in early disease detection and accurate diagnoses, while the new building at the dental college will provide students with top-notch facilities. During his visit to Indore, Yadav also toured the MR-10 located ISBT, set to be operational by December. He announced that Indore will soon boast India's largest inter-state bus terminal, designed like an airport, making it a notable addition to the state's infrastructure.The 15-acre ISBT facility, constructed at a cost of Rs 101 crore by IDA, is set to improve travel experiences for passengers, especially with the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering. The terminal is equipped to serve up to 80,000 passengers daily and accommodate 1,440 buses round the clock. It will include 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking lot, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and other amenities. Additionally, the CM inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and reassured employees at the Sanchi Dairy Plant in Indore that there will be no job cuts. The MP government aims to strengthen the dairy sector and support dairy cooperatives. The CM also unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi at the city forest, honoring her community’s environmental protection efforts. During the visit to Indore, the CM received blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for around 50,000 individuals.
